Went to the LA Banksy show last Friday (it was preceeded by a stunt he pulled at Disneyland, quitely planting a realistic blow-up doll of a shackled, hooded, orange-jupsuit-clad Guantanamo prisoner next to one of the rides). His warehouse exhibit lasted three days and the Los Angeles Times wrote three articles about it, mostly on the "Painted Pachyderm" angle. The elephant was unpainted by Sunday. I know this has got a lot of hype, maybe too much. But I really liked it. It struck me as kind of sad though, that the most creative and vocal critic of US public policy had to come from the UK. Here are all the snaps.
